 AIMS OF FOUR YEAR UNDER-GRADUATE PROGRAMME (FYUGP) IN

EDUCATION:

The aims of Four Year Under-Graduate Programme (FYUGP) in Education are:

1. To enhance the student’s learning of Education as a Social Science discipline, by providing

students with a rigorous and challenging educational experience aiming to develop sound

theoretical background in the subject.

2. To enable the students to understand the foundations of Education.

3. To develop capabilities of the students to critically evaluate issues and the emerging trends

influencing the field of Education.

4. To equip students with soft skills and inculcate values through value education for personal

development.

5. To familiarize students with educational technology and train them in the use of ICT in

Education.

NEP2020 Education

Tapan Payeng, who loves to write, Tapan Payeng, along with Monturam Taid, published a magazine titled "Sahityar Deuka", a magazine linked to Assamese, English and Mising languages, the first quarterly e-magazine of Mising and Assam. Tapan's name is "Karsang Takar" is used in various magazines such as Doksiri, Ramdhenu, etc. Apart from this, it has also been published in newspapers, Dainandin Barta, Dainik Assam, Assam Aditya. His first publication was a poem, story and essay in the first Assamese daily E magazine. Among the articles published in newspapers are social pollution of the environment, women's poverty, Article-15, the place of women in Indian society, etc. He is also a member of the "Anu Mising Lutad" of the Mising language news crow and the foundar of "notun tathya asomiya".
